Luxaflex® Window Fashions, Carpet Court Nelson and Venetian Agencies congratulates Ken Kernohan and Michael Taylor the lucky winners of the “Day at the Melbourne races with Luxaflex” packages won by purchasing Luxaflex® blinds from a Luxaflex® dealer.

Ken Kernohan from Upper Moutere purchased from Carpet Court Nelson both Luxaflex® Duette® shades and Vertical blinds.

“We chose Duette shades due to their modern designer look and thermal properties as our windows are only single glazed and the Duette’s accurate fit within the window frame with very fine air gap tolerances between the blind and window frame will minimise any cold draughts into the home. We also replaced a Luxaflex Vertical blind in the bathroom which was twenty years old and the new refined modern look with a super smooth track system and very fine gap tolerances around the window frame once again made us go with Luxaflex. The original blind had never given us any problem however it had done a lot of work (7300 days) of opening and closing in a humid environment. Our home now looks like it has had a makeover and we are very happy with the result. The realisation of winning this trip courtesy of Luxaflex is still hard to believe and really appreciated. It was an emotional moment when Bernie Hanrahan (National Sales Manager) told us the good news.”

Michael Taylor from Lower Hutt purchased Luxaflex® Sunscreens blinds from Venetian Agencies in Lower Hutt

“We purchased Sunscreens for their UV protection benefits. We chose to install Sunscreens instead of putting a coating on the glass which breaks down after a while. The blinds are really good, cuts out the UV, works easily, and the blinds look great. We're very pleased with the blinds in our sitting room, where we have some fine Turkish and Syrian carpets."
