Fabric Awnings

Fabric awnings at a glance

There are several types of fabric awning: Large retractable folding arm canopies that create shade for deck areas (manual or automated), roll-up awnings for windows and doors, fixed frame weather protection awnings and pergola awnings.

Fabrics and components

Only robust, corrosion-resistant components and durable fade-resistant fabrics are used to manufacture Luxaflex® fabric awnings. The fabrics are treated to resist mould and mildew, which makes them easy to keep clean and looking as new. You can view fabrics and colours here.

Operating systems

Awnings that can be retracted or rolled up can be operated manually with a crank handle, or you can have the convenience of motorised operation with remote or wall switch control. You can also have programmed automatic control, which means awnings will operate in response to the weather or your specific requirements.
