LUXAFLEX Timber window coverings marry traditional timber working skills, care and attention to detail with modern technology to craft a blind that is comparable to a fine piece of furniture.
The timber is air dried for a period of nine months and then experienced craftsmen select straight and knot-free timber to craft into quality blinds. The choice of timber offers the enhanced colour and grain variation that is so characteristic of timber.
Basswood: Basswood Blinds are stained and sealed with a UV resistant lacquer.
e-cote® UV
LUXAFLEX Countrywoods Timber Venetians can be custom finished with 'e-cote UV' a revolutionary acrylic lacquer coating that offers the highest UV resistant properties available. 'e-cote UV' paint is cured in UV ovens to produce a hard, durable and extremely smooth finish; fading is inhibited by using automotive pigments in the paint. 'e-cote UV' coated products are suitable for use in damp areas such as bathrooms but are not recommended for continual immersion in water.
Durability
Lacquered timber finishes have been UV tested, achieving little change in colour after approximately 5 years. Manually operated products have been cycle tested to ensure longevity.

Vacuuming: for deeper cleaning, vacuum gently with a brush attachment of any vacuum cleaner. Most products may be vacuumed using vertical strokes.
Cleaning Service: You can also have the blinds cleaned by a professional cleaning service, please find your nearest service provider under FAQ
Note: when cleaning windows, spray glass cleaner on a cloth rather than spraying directly on the window. This will prevent damage to the wood finish by splattering cleaner.
