A message to all valued Luxaflex Customers,

As per the Government's announcement on Monday 11th May, New Zealand will be moving to Alert Level 2 effective, in part, Thursday 14th April.

We are pleased to announce Under Alert Level 2 that our full range of services will once again be available to you. Following the guidelines set by the Government and health experts, from manufacturing and installation to in-home consultations and showrooms, we are taking extra precautionary measures to maintain the highest levels of hygiene and cleanliness to give you peace of mind. 

We know that just like us, you will still be passionate about transforming your home and we are here to help you in any way we can.

 

Showrooms

With social distancing, contact tracing, thorough cleaning measures and training in place, our dealer showrooms will once again be available under Alert Level 2. (Find your nearest here).

If you do not feel comfortable visiting a showroom, we are more than happy to accommodate you with a video consultation through select dealers around the country. 

If you have your plans or window measurements and photos, our dealers can even provide you with advice and a quote without the need to see you in person.

 

In the home

At present, our trading hours have not changed, and we are still available for in-home consultations and product installations. With our own health and safety measures in place, please don’t hesitate to guide our team on any additional precautionary measures, such as the use of a PPE face mask, that you would like us to take within your home. As always, our team strives towards making our customers feel as comfortable as possible. Book your in-home consultation here.

 

Our Products

With our Auckland based factory making made-to-measure products to our specific Luxaflex premium quality standards, we are fortunate enough to have not had any negative impact on our lead times and production. With this in mind, we can assure you we are able to produce our wide range of blinds, shades, and awnings.

In such instances where a product may be made internationally, like our Australian made PolySatin Shutters, or select American made window fashions, lead times remain as expected.

A message to all valued Luxaflex Customers,

As per the Government's announcement on Monday 20th April, New Zealand will be moving to Alert Level 3 effective Tuesday 28th April. Under Alert Level 3, we are pleased to announce that our head office, Auckland manufacturing operations and trusted dealers will once again be providing custom, NZ made product and personalised service to our customers around the country.

As COVID-19 continues to develop, the health and safety of our staff, community and valued customers remains our highest priority. Following the guidelines set by the Government and health experts, from manufacturing to installation, we are taking extra precautionary measures to give you peace of mind at home.

Consultations and quotes 

Under alert level 3, our dealers are unable to meet in-person at home or in-store. To assist during this time, we are excited to be offering virtual consultations through select dealers around the country. Just like our in-person consultations, our dealers can discuss product solutions, fabric and material options, and help you with your plans over video.

To see whether your nearest dealer offers virtual consultations, follow this link, select your desired store and complete a consultation request. Our dealers are also available via email or phone if a capable video device is not available to you. 

For quotes, call or email your nearest store (contact details here) with your plans or window measurements, photos and details, and our trusted Luxaflex experts will be able to provide you with advice and prepare an estimate. Alternatively, request a quote during your video consultation.

We understand that even under alert level 2 and 1, you may not be comfortable entering one of our showrooms, so we will ensure virtual consultations continue to be available to you. 

Installation and measure-ups

We are pleased to announce that our installers will be available under alert level 3, providing OSH requirements and travel restrictions can be met. Equipped with appropriate PPE, they will be able to conduct installations, measure-ups and service work within your home should you be comfortable with their distanced presence.

Manufacturing

On Wednesday 29th April, our manufacturing operations will resume at our Auckland premises. With extensive OSH plans developed to ensure the utmost safety for both our customers and our team, we want to thank you in advance for your patience as we navigate our new working environment. The ability to produce quality New Zealand made products without a negative impact on our lead times is something we are proud of, and we are looking forward to once again manufacturing made-to-measure blinds for Kiwi homes.

As New Zealand shifts to COVID-19 Alert Level 4, where a full lockdown is enforced, we will be temporarily closing our operations until we are advised it is safe to resume.

As the situation with COVID-19 continues to evolve, we want to assure you that we are taking the advice of the Government and health experts very seriously as we put the health and safety of our employees, customers and dealers above all else.

With the retention of our staff and the support of New Zealand Window Shades, we can proudly assure you we are here for the long term. With the promise of our services resuming post lockdown, we are looking forward to reconnecting with you all as we continue to build upon our 60+ year history of adding style and sophistication to Kiwi homes across the country.

Sample Express:

If you have an outstanding Sample Express order placed before our closing, we will process this for delivery once we are back up and running.
