Whether it’s design or function, there is an extensive range of fabrics available for our Roller Blinds.

Sunscreen fabrics have an open weave that softens bright light, screens UV and minimises heat gain. Some sunscreen fabrics are see-through, so room occupants can still enjoy the view.

Light filtering fabrics are available in a range of opacities, colours and textures. They allow natural light to enter the room but maintain privacy.

Blockout fabric has a special backing that ensures light cannot travel through the roller blind. This type of roller blind fabric also has a thermal rating, which helps with heat control.

Privacy

Maintaining privacy day and night is an important consideration for many homeowners, particularly for bedrooms. With our Luxaflex Roller Blinds, we can help select the right fabric and opacity, so you don’t need to give up a beautiful view or block out the daylight to achieve a sense of security. And for rooms that require total blackout, the Headbox System can also be installed with Side Channels.

When it comes to our Luxaflex® products, child safety is always a number one priority. We know what kids are like, that’s why we go out of our way to not only comply with child safety standards, we exceed them. For traditional operation with a chain or cord, we offer a range of optional tensioner devices and cleats that can be fitted to your chosen window covering to avoid any accidental mishaps – putting a stop to any aspiring little Tarzans. Alternatively, you can even go cordless with Qmotion® Automation and Somfy® Automation for the ultimate in child safety.

Automation made easy

Sleek and simple, with our extensive range of automation systems, whether it’s by phone,

remote, tablet, or even voice control, you won’t need to leave your seat the next time you need to draw the blinds. With timer controls and scene settings, you can fully integrate our blinds into your lifestyle. And if hardwiring if out of the equation, there’s no need to worry. Our Somfy® battery operated motors are easy to retrofit and come with either replaceable batteries (last up to three years) or Somfy® rechargeable lithium-ion batteries (simply recharge every 9 months).
